Ikari had trained for glory the way a blade trains for war, every muscle coiled, every breath a promise of violence he never got to keep, and then Oleg showed up with a joint under the sakura trees and glory walked right past him. "Anger is the only honest thing left in this rotted world," he mutters now, vein throbbing at his temple like a war drum nobody else can hear, even as he sat there getting baked instead of getting legendary. The petals fell pink and stupid around him while his shot at destiny drifted off in a cloud of Oleg's cheap weed, and somewhere his old sensei's ghost wept into his sake. So now Ikari plans to teach self defense, screaming lessons about discipline and focus to strangers who just want to learn how to throw a punch, his rage curdling into something almost tender and entirely useless. He knows the irony chokes him worse than the weed did, a furious teacher of control who cannot control the one afternoon that mattered, and still he shows up every day, veins bulging, fists ready, enemy nowhere in sight but somehow always winning.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Paper screens at night. The Shoji Night fighters were born in the quiet hours, when the market sleeps and only the committed are still at their screens.

'Ikari' means anger — and here it's not a description, it's the whole man. He doesn't perform rage; he simply is it, structured, purposeful, and permanent.
Still functional. Functionally broken. The Broken Glasses fighters see a cracked version of reality and have found it more honest than the uncracked one.
Ancient discipline, modern retention. The Braided Samurai Ponytail fighters maintain something traditional precisely because the world keeps trying to make them let it go.
