Diary
Ikari once cut down men who deserved the blade less than the sake did, but now his war is a filthy izakaya stool and a nobody named Bob who won't stop talking about his bags. The vein on his temple rises like a dragon surfacing, because there's no enemy left worth the honor of his fury, only lukewarm beer, a dealer's promise, and the ghost of discipline he keeps trying to ape back into his life. He tells himself, quoting some sensei he half remembers, anger is a stone thrown into a wasp's nest, then flips the table anyway when Bob mentions his floor price again. Somewhere between the smoke curling off a joint and the seventh empty cup, Ikari's mojo slipped out the back door and never left a forwarding address, leaving him alone with his own violent honesty. So he lives one day at a time now, fists clenched around nothing, still furious, still faithful to a bushido that only shows up to laugh at how far he's fallen.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Lived-in color. The Warm Grey background belongs to fighters who have been through enough that their edges have softened without their core changing.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
'Ikari' means anger — and here it's not a description, it's the whole man. He doesn't perform rage; he simply is it, structured, purposeful, and permanent.
Still wearing them. The Bloodied Glasses fighters need nothing to be clean to keep seeing clearly.
Named for the legendary swordsman. The Flowing Battousai fighters carry the name of the fastest draw in the collection's lore — and the hair confirms they take this seriously.
Heavy, ceramic, purpose-built for one thing and used for another. The Giant Sake Bottle fighters are creative about their arsenal.
