Diary
Ikari woke in the alley with his fist already clenched around nothing, the vein at his temple throbbing like it still had a war to report to, and beside him lay Tokuda, snoring like a war drum with a bottle for a pillow and a look of pure lunacy dried onto his face. "There is no enemy here," Ikari muttered, quoting some dead sensei who never once had to sleep next to Tokuda after a bad night on the sake, and the words tasted like ash because his fists still wanted something to hit. He had promised himself discipline this month, five a.m. forms, cold water, silence, and instead he got broken glass under his knees and a friend who had traded his mind for whatever was in that bottle. Ikari hauled Tokuda up by the collar, more tender than his scowl let on, growling that a real warrior doesn't rage at ghosts, all while his own knuckles ached from a fight the night gave no memory of. He walked Tokuda home muttering old proverbs about anger being a wasted sword, the vein still standing proud on his forehead, furious at the world for leaving him nothing left to conquer but a hangover and a friend gone feral.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Hidden in plain sight. The Night Forest fighters do most of their work in the dark — not secretively, but quietly. They don't need an audience.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Maximum exposure by choice. The Nudey Freak fighters are not unclothed by accident — they made a considered decision and stand by it in all weather.
'Ikari' means anger — and here it's not a description, it's the whole man. He doesn't perform rage; he simply is it, structured, purposeful, and permanent.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Named for the legendary fighter. The Red Heihachi fighters carry that name's weight in every match and find it light.
Found. Not forged. The Large Branch fighters don't wait for the right weapon — they use what's available and are surprised when this needs explanation.
