Diary
Once Drooling Azuma commanded a hunger that armies feared, a blade-hand whose appetite for glory could level a battlefield before breakfast, but peace came and starved him of anything worth swinging at. So when Oleg showed up at the foot of Mount Koriyoka with a duffel bag of weed and a grin like a bad omen, Azuma's ravenous soul latched on like it was the last honorable war left to fight. He inhaled that mountain air and every last bud with equal ferocity, roaring laughter that echoed off the cliffs, and somewhere between the second bowl and the fourth existential crisis his samurai code slid quietly off a ledge and was never recovered. Now he squats in a lean-to shrine of empty snack wrappers, calling it discipline because he meditates for exactly four minutes before the munchies stage a coup, still swearing every dawn that today is the day he becomes a monk instead of a mess. The mountain hasn't believed him once, and honestly, neither has Azuma, but the swagger with which he fails is, by his own loud accounting, its own kind of honor.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Neither dark nor white. The Light Grey background belongs to fighters who operate in the space between certainties and have made it comfortable there.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
'Azuma' — east, the rising sun. Once a warrior whose hunger for the fight rose every morning: first over the wall, last off the field. Peacetime left the hunger nowhere to go.
The disguise is the identity. The Degen Superhero glasses fighters have a secret — or maybe the secret is that there's no secret and they've always been exactly this.
Ceremony interrupted. The Disheveled Geisha fighters started something formal and ended something entirely different.
The other fish weapon. The Dead Fish fighters use something that smells like loss as a weapon — opponents are too confused to defend properly.
