Diary
Drooling Azuma once trained before dawn on the ridge above the valley, swinging a bokken until his arms shook, dreaming of banners and glory like every other ambitious idiot in a topknot. Then came the onsen incident, the fateful steam-soaked afternoon he clowned Itsuki in front of half the dojo, and something in the universe just decided to reward him for it, the way the market pumps your worst shitcoin the day after you paper-handed it. Now his dreams have come true in the ugliest, most gloriously undignified way possible: he is rich in nothing but appetite, a warlord of snacks and vice with no war left to fight, no banners to raise, only a floor price of self-respect that keeps getting rugged. He tries, genuinely tries, to bring back the discipline, waking at dawn to swing that same bokken, only to trade it for a bag of chips and a blunt before the sun's even fully up, laughing so loud the birds relocate. Somewhere Itsuki still side-eyes him at every onsen they both frequent, and Azuma just grins back, drooling, ambitionless, and somehow, impossibly, thriving.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Neither dark nor white. The Light Grey background belongs to fighters who operate in the space between certainties and have made it comfortable there.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
The name is the lore. The Poop Pride Kimono fighters have transcended embarrassment so completely that they wear the proof. Undefeated.
'Azuma' — east, the rising sun. Once a warrior whose hunger for the fight rose every morning: first over the wall, last off the field. Peacetime left the hunger nowhere to go.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
The farmer's crown. The Rice Hat fighters carry tradition on their head without ceremony — it's just what you wear when you have work to do.
Patience as weapon. The Noose fighters don't rush — they set the conditions and wait for the opponent to walk into them.
