Drooling Azuma never met a hunger he didn't try to ape into headfirst, and back when he still wore his master's colors he treated every mission like an all-you-can-eat buffet of chaos, so of course he found a way to turn a simple sabotage-on-horseback job into the loudest, sloppiest disaster in the province. Mid-gallop, betraying his own lord for reasons even he couldn't fully explain past 'felt right, dude,' a monkey darted into his path screeching like it owed him money, and Azuma, drooling and thrilled and utterly without discipline, drove his blade clean through the poor beast without slowing his horse one inch. He swears to this day it was the single greatest rush of his samurai life, better than sake, better than the floor pumping on a rugged bag, a pure degenerate high he's been chasing ever since with weed, dice, and increasingly bad decisions. Now he trains every morning promising himself he'll find that old warrior's calm again, meditate, breathe, sharpen the mind not just the blade, and every single time he ends up three bong rips deep reliving the monkey stab like it's his greatest highlight reel. Some men lose their honor slowly; Azuma lost his in one gloriously unhinged swing and has been loudly, happily chasing the ghost of that thrill ever since.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
The hour when most give up. The Blue Evening fighters are still at their desk, still watching the chart, still holding.
