Diary
Drooling Azuma once carried a blade steady enough to still a battlefield, but with no war left to feed his appetite he poured it all into the Darkness Festival instead, bellowing love songs at every courtesan within earshot like a man trying to ape into affection with sheer volume alone. Somewhere between the third ballad and the seventh cup of sake he picked up something his lantern light couldn't quite explain, a mysterious rash blooming across his skin like a cursed NFT mint gone wrong, non refundable and definitely rugged. He swears it's a battle scar of romance, loudly, to anyone who'll listen, while scratching himself raw in a way that undercuts the whole legend he's building in real time. True to form he has decided the only cure worth trying is drink, lots of it, a plan built entirely on vibes and zero discipline, the same discipline his samurai self used to wield like a second sword. Somewhere his old master weeps, watching Azuma toast his own rash like it's a trophy, gloriously undignified and completely, hilariously unbothered.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Hidden in plain sight. The Night Forest fighters do most of their work in the dark — not secretively, but quietly. They don't need an audience.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Memento mori made fashionable. The Skull Kimono fighters remember what's at stake and wear the reminder so they never forget.
'Azuma' — east, the rising sun. Once a warrior whose hunger for the fight rose every morning: first over the wall, last off the field. Peacetime left the hunger nowhere to go.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Practical and armed. The Hair Bun With Chopsticks fighters put utensils in their hair and call it hair care — the dual function is not accidental.
Found. Not forged. The Large Branch fighters don't wait for the right weapon — they use what's available and are surprised when this needs explanation.
