Diary
Drooling Azuma once swung a blade with the quiet precision of a monk counting prayer beads, but that was a lifetime and several regrettable tabs ago, and now the only discipline he practices is finishing every plate put in front of him, plus everyone else's. The night he lost the nipple is spoken of in hushed, delighted tones across the dojo: three priests, a red light district that should have stayed a rumor, and Azuma diving into the whole mess mouth first like it was an all you can eat buffet blessed by the gods themselves. Nobody quite agrees on how the nipple went missing, least of all Azuma, who woke up sticky, holy, and one areola lighter, grinning like he'd hit a hundred x on a shitcoin. He swears now he wants peace, a quiet life, maybe some tea and meditation, and he even tries, sitting cross legged for a full nine seconds before his stomach roars like a war drum and drags him back toward chaos. The old warrior in him weeps somewhere deep down, but the degen in him is already asking what's for dinner, and loudly.”
Simple. Carved. Someone made this by hand. The Wooden Loop fighters wear something made, not bought, and consider that a statement worth making.
The hour when most give up. The Blue Evening fighters are still at their desk, still watching the chart, still holding.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
The name is the lore. The Poop Pride Kimono fighters have transcended embarrassment so completely that they wear the proof. Undefeated.
'Azuma' — east, the rising sun. Once a warrior whose hunger for the fight rose every morning: first over the wall, last off the field. Peacetime left the hunger nowhere to go.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Practical. Focused. The Hair Bun fighters pulled back what was in their eyes so they could see the whole board.
Repurposed. Made for the earth, used for the fight. The Farmers Hoe fighters don't distinguish between cultivation and combat.
