Igor The Bear moved through the summer heat like a glacier with grudges, dragging his sandals along the dried mud flats near the Kamogawa in search of coin he swore he dropped there during some forgotten bender. Sweat rolled down the slab of his back as he crouched, huffed, and dug through gravel with the patience of a man who has never once in his life been in a hurry, and somewhere between the third hour and the fourth beer he'd smuggled in his obi, he found something better than money: stillness. He did not gasp or weep or fall to his knees like the old sutras describe; he simply sat back on his haunches, nodded once, heavy as a temple bell, and declared himself enlightened, financially rugged but spiritually mooned. The old samurai discipline flickered somewhere behind his eyes, whispering that true peace requires posture, breath, restraint, and Igor, ever the immovable weight, promptly ignored it in favor of lighting a joint to properly savor the moment. He lumbered home smiling, pockets empty, heart embarrassingly full, utterly and insufferably pleased with himself.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Neither dark nor white. The Light Grey background belongs to fighters who operate in the space between certainties and have made it comfortable there.
