Diary
The vein on Angry Ikari's temple has its own reputation now, separate from the man, forged the day he stormed the sparring floor screaming for The Kingpin and got exactly what he asked for, which was a beating with his name attached to it forever. He used to quote the old masters, anger is a wind that blows out the lamp of reason, and he still quotes it, mostly at strangers, mostly too loud, mostly missing the point on purpose. After The Kingpin folded him like a cheap lawn chair in front of the whole dojo, Ikari announced through gritted teeth that honor demanded seppuku, dramatic, immediate, tonight. Tonight became after one more sake, then after a blunt to steady the hand, then after an hour of furiously journaling about how furious he was, the ritual blade forgotten on the tatami next to a half-eaten bag of edibles. He is still here, veins and grudges intact, seppuku rescheduled indefinitely, proof that the angriest man in the Dojo can't even discipline himself into properly dying.”
Not contacts. Not paint. Something older. The Shaman Eyes fighters see through the collection at a frequency others can't access, and they've been doing it since before the derug.
Neither dark nor white. The Light Grey background belongs to fighters who operate in the space between certainties and have made it comfortable there.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Ritual clothing for someone who crossed between worlds. The Bird Shaman fighters dress for the journey they're already on, not the destination.
'Ikari' means anger — and here it's not a description, it's the whole man. He doesn't perform rage; he simply is it, structured, purposeful, and permanent.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Clean but rough. The White Ruffian fighters look like they could have behaved properly and chose not to. The white makes the choice more visible.
Heavy, ceramic, purpose-built for one thing and used for another. The Giant Sake Bottle fighters are creative about their arsenal.
