Diary
Ikari still remembers the stink of the dojo latrines better than he remembers his father's face, and that alone should tell you everything about the deal he struck there in the dark. "Anger is the only currency that never gets rugged," he used to spit through his teeth, and he cashed his family's trust in for a captain's favor while the vein in his neck throbbed like a war drum that never learned peace. He does not call it betrayal, he calls it yield farming with blood as collateral, and he will fight anyone, even a mirror, who says otherwise. Now he tries to meditate before every brawl, counting breaths the way old sensei taught, but by the third inhale he is already picturing the latrine door and his knuckles are already curling, discipline rugged again before it even vests. There is no enemy left worth this fire, no family left to sell, only Ikari, alone, furious, honestly furious, still telling himself he regrets nothing while the vein says otherwise.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Between midday and dusk. The Orange Afternoon fighters are in the middle of something — not finished, not starting, exactly where they need to be.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
The dragon lives on the body now. The Dragon Head Tattoo fighters carry their ambition on the surface — it's not hidden, and it's not a metaphor.
'Ikari' means anger — and here it's not a description, it's the whole man. He doesn't perform rage; he simply is it, structured, purposeful, and permanent.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
The farmer's crown. The Rice Hat fighters carry tradition on their head without ceremony — it's just what you wear when you have work to do.
The other fish weapon. The Dead Fish fighters use something that smells like loss as a weapon — opponents are too confused to defend properly.
