Once Azuma's hunger had a war to feed it, katana singing, belly empty for honor alone, but the wars ended and the hunger stayed, so now it feeds on everything: dumplings, dice, dumb bets, and apparently the Dojo's secrets, which he spilled like sake at a table he'd already lost. He didn't mean to run his mouth about who was aping into what floor-price nonsense or whose sensei still cries at cherry blossoms, but the bet was double-or-nothing and Azuma has never once in his degenerate life chosen nothing. Now the whole Dojo side-eyes him at the noodle stall, and Azuma, gloriously undignified, has declared a Season of Silence, a vow of discipline so loud he announces it to strangers, drooling a little with the effort of not talking. He lasts four hours before he's shouting fresh gossip at the top of his lungs just to fill the quiet, because an empty mouth, like an empty bowl, is a personal insult to a man built entirely of appetite. Reputation, he figures, is just another thing to bet on, and Azuma, sword rusting, honor rugged, is already eyeing the next big loud doomed swing to win it back.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Lived-in color. The Warm Grey background belongs to fighters who have been through enough that their edges have softened without their core changing.
