Drooling Azuma once swung a blade with the quiet certainty of a monk, but peace rugged his purpose and left him with a hunger that no war could feed, so he went looking for a fight in all the wrong tide pools. He found it on a beach in Chiba, training alongside a crew of oiled-up scumbags who sold him three tattoos and a dream, all of them terrible, one of them spelling a word he still can't pronounce sober. He aped into their bootcamp headfirst, hollering about discipline between mouthfuls of gas station sushi and other people's weed, mistaking every sunburn for growth and every hangover for a training arc. Now he says he wants a quieter life, a mat, a bowl of rice, silence, the old samurai hush, and every single morning he loses that fight before the sun's even up, already loud, already starving, already googling where the nearest beach party is. Drooling Azuma, forever chasing the calm he keeps outbidding with his own appetite.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Bright but not loud. The Teal Daytime fighters are the ones you underestimate because they don't announce their arrival.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Still learning. The Student Gi fighters are the most dangerous in the Dojo — they have no habits yet, no fixed patterns, no ceiling.
'Azuma' — east, the rising sun. Once a warrior whose hunger for the fight rose every morning: first over the wall, last off the field. Peacetime left the hunger nowhere to go.

Floor-mat helmet. The Tatami Kabuto fighters made armor from the training floor itself — they carry the place they trained in wherever they go.
