Drooling Azuma once carried his blade the way other samurai carried their honor, but when the wars dried up the hunger that used to be for glory just turned into hunger, period, and it never once whispered when it could scream. He found a filthy little izakaya tucked behind a noodle stall, the kind of place with grease on the ceiling and no shame on the menu, and he aped his entire life savings into an all you can eat chicken plate like it was a floor sweep on destiny itself. Forty skewers in, drooling for real now, chin shining, he felt something crack that wasn't a bone, some last thread of discipline snapping clean as he realized he could not stop, would not stop, had never once stopped anything in his life. The Dojo elders found him three hours later asleep in a puddle of sauce, robes ruined, dignity rugged completely, and they didn't even bother waking him gently before they threw him out. He still swears it was worth it, still dreams of that fourth plate he never got to finish, and somewhere out there Drooling Azuma is losing the same fight all over again, one greasy, glorious bite at a time.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
