Diary
Fatty Bobsticks wants it known, loudly and often, that he is NOT Fat Bob, thank you very much, even if the shadow at his heel wears the same topknot and orders the same lukewarm sake. So when the story gets told, the one about the noodle house, the snake bath, the monkey, he insists on narrating it himself, chest puffed like he minted his own legend. There he was, soaking with a tub full of hissing snakes because some ronin dared him, sipping broth like a proper disciplined warrior in training, when a monkey aped straight into his personal space and tried to rug his dumplings. Fatty says the stab was clean, honorable even, a single decisive strike worthy of the dojo he swears he still trains at between bong rips and bad bets, though Fat Bob's shadow just snickers that no blade should ever be drawn over noodles. He has chosen to forget the actual incident entirely, mostly because remembering means admitting he screamed louder than the monkey, but forgetting, much like discipline, is a fight Fatty keeps losing while insisting, gloriously, that he's winning it his own way.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Red moon, heightened stakes. The Red High Moon backgrounds mark the moments when everything was on the line and the fighter stayed.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
No clothing needed. The Shirtless Runt fighters removed every layer between themselves and the fight. Maximum exposure. Maximum honesty.
He exists in Fat Bob's extended universe — related, distinct, and absolutely exhausted by the comparison. Same build, same laugh, different problems. Do not, he begs you, get them confused.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Practical and armed. The Hair Bun With Chopsticks fighters put utensils in their hair and call it hair care — the dual function is not accidental.
Games within games. The Chō-Han Gambling Dice fighters turned the casino into the armory and find this philosophically consistent.
