Fatty Bobsticks exists in Fat Bob's extended universe, related, distinct, and absolutely exhausted by the comparison. Same build, same easy laugh, entirely different set of problems, and do not, he begs you, get them confused, though everyone does, constantly, which is the load-bearing tragedy of his whole existence. He fought his own wars, thank you, and has his own scars, thank you, and when it all ended he arrived at the dojo determined to be the definitive article and not the footnote. It has not gone great. But Bobsticks has a gift the original never did, which is that he is genuinely, ridiculously funny about it. If you cannot be the legend, be the sequel that steals the scene. He is working on it. Loudly. He copies Fat Bob's famous discipline exactly, then adds his own total lack of it, and calls the result an improvement on the original.
