Diary
Fatty Bobsticks will tell anyone who buys the next round that he is not a sequel, not a shadow, not some watered-down remix of Fat Bob, and then he'll tell them again louder, which is itself very Fat Bob of him. Up on the palace roof, blade locked against Ikari's, something in his chest cracked loose mid-swing, faith spilling out over the tiles like cheap sake, and by the time the duel ended he'd decided the old gods weren't renewing his membership anyway. So now he's a Buddhist, self-declared, self-ordained, meditating in the lotus position with a joint smoldering between two fingers like it's incense for a temple only he attends. He preaches detachment from worldly things while clutching his bag of chips like a rosary, insisting enlightenment is basically the same as going long on nothing and losing slow. Ikari just calls him Fat Bob's little brother and Fatty Bobsticks screams
Worn as trophy or warning — nobody is quite sure which. The Chicken Bones fighters have a ceremony for everything and share it with no one.
Neither dark nor white. The Light Grey background belongs to fighters who operate in the space between certainties and have made it comfortable there.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Excess made armor. The Glutton Fight fighters wear their hunger on the outside — not for food, but for everything the Dojo offers.
He exists in Fat Bob's extended universe — related, distinct, and absolutely exhausted by the comparison. Same build, same laugh, different problems. Do not, he begs you, get them confused.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Tied before the fight. The Green Bandana fighters have a ritual of preparation — the bandana is how they mark the transition.
Implies infirmity, delivers otherwise. The Wooden Walking Cane fighters move slower than expected and hit harder than prepared for.
