Diary
Fatty Bobsticks will tell you, unprompted and at volume, that he is NOT Fat Bob's sequel, reboot, or discount cousin, thank you very much, even as Fat Bob's shadow keeps stretching across Mount Fuji like it owns the mountain's rent. He climbed up there overconfident as ever, sake-legged and swaggering, ready to eyeball the legendary Goro like some ronin who never lost a bar bet in his life. The bow, when it came, was less a bow and more a controlled collapse, but Fatty stood up laughing, chest puffed, insisting the wobble was strategy, a technique passed down from nobody, invented right there on the spot. Somewhere in the old discipline he abandoned for weed, dice, and bravado, a small monk-shaped voice reminds him that confidence without technique is just a louder way to get rugged, and he tells that voice, politely, to go bother Fat Bob instead. Still, walking down from Fuji, floor-high on adrenaline and second-hand legend, he has never felt better, never felt more himself, and if that self happens to rhyme with someone else's shadow, well, sequels always hit different.”
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Unclear until it clears. The Grey Mist backgrounds belong to fighters who operate where others can't see, and use that fog as their advantage.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Blade pattern. The Katana Kimono fighters understand that what you wear signals what you expect — and they expect a fight.
He exists in Fat Bob's extended universe — related, distinct, and absolutely exhausted by the comparison. Same build, same laugh, different problems. Do not, he begs you, get them confused.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Focus made visible. The Karate Headband fighters bound their intention around their skull so it couldn't escape during the fight.
Used and not cleaned. The Bloody Nunchucks fighters are efficient — cleaning was someone else's job and they had the next fight to prepare for.
