Diary
Fatty Bobsticks wants it known, loudly and often, that he is NOT Fat Bob's sequel, some diet remix, some off-brand ronin cashing in on a bigger man's legend, he is his OWN katana-wielding disaster and he will duel you on that point if the humidity doesn't kill him first. It was that same stubborn pride that marched him into the dojo courtyard in the dead of summer to challenge the old master himself, sweat pouring off him like he was melting into the tatami, honor blazing brighter than good sense. He lost, obviously, got folded like a cheap lawn chair in front of the whole dojo, and now he insists this was strategic, a long con, definitely not just getting rugged by a seventy year old man with a stick. In the shame-soaked aftermath he has announced, several times, with great theater, that he plans to commit seppuku to restore his honor, though so far this has mostly involved him polishing the ceremonial blade while smoking weed and rehearsing his death speech in the mirror. Every day he vows tomorrow's the day, dresses in white, meditates for four whole minutes, then wanders off toward the sake shelf muttering that a true samurai needs proper spirits for proper dying, and somewhere in the shadows Fat Bob is laughing, and Fatty Bobsticks, mid stumble, insists that laugh means nothing to him at all.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Lived-in color. The Warm Grey background belongs to fighters who have been through enough that their edges have softened without their core changing.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Organization ink made visible. The Black Yakuza Sleeves fighters belong to something — a code, a history — and they advertise their membership without speaking.
He exists in Fat Bob's extended universe — related, distinct, and absolutely exhausted by the comparison. Same build, same laugh, different problems. Do not, he begs you, get them confused.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
The farmer's crown. The Rice Hat fighters carry tradition on their head without ceremony — it's just what you wear when you have work to do.
The other fish weapon. The Dead Fish fighters use something that smells like loss as a weapon — opponents are too confused to defend properly.
