Goro was the youngest of his old dojo and learned early that silence outlasts every blade, so when the wars ended he simply sat, watched, and waited for the world to burn itself down around him. It did, eventually, into the haze of the Degen Dojo courtyard, where he shared a joint with Oleg and said almost nothing for two hours, which Oleg mistook for wisdom and everyone else mistook for holiness. That quiet earned him favor faster than any sword ever had, and now the elders have handed him the sacred, ink-stained task of writing the Degen Handbook, a scripture of floors rugged and vices unlearned. He drafts each chapter with the same monk-like patience he once used to outwait enemies on the field, though the discipline always slips somewhere between chapter one and the part where Oleg wants a chapter about snacks. Still he waits, pen steady, weed lit, certain that someday the words will behave the way his old training once did.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
