Goro was raised on waiting, the youngest of too many brothers, taught to let the room finish shouting before he ever opened his mouth, and for years that patience was his whole fortune. Then came the night at the yakiniku, grill smoke curling like bad omens, sake stacked three cups past sense, and something old and unguarded in him snapped loose, obscenities spilling out at a table of women who had done nothing but exist near his bad mood. By morning his wallet was as empty as his composure, the bar tab and the apologies both due at once, his stacked bag rugged clean by his own big mouth. Now he sits in quieter rooms, watching doors, counting breaths, trying to rebuild the stillness he once wore so easily, and losing that fight nightly to the itch for one more drink, one more round, one more chance to prove patience was never really gone. Still he waits, because waiting is the only technique he trusts himself not to ruin twice.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Unclear until it clears. The Grey Mist backgrounds belong to fighters who operate where others can't see, and use that fog as their advantage.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.

'Goro' — fifth son, who learns early the world won't wait, so he'd better learn to wait for it. Patience was his whole art: the one who held position long after holding stopped making sense.
