Goro was always the last to speak and the last to move, a habit forged in childhood as the youngest of too many brothers, and that same stillness once made him the calmest blade in his dojo. He carried that patience into the Darkness Festival like a monk carries a begging bowl, watching the chaos swirl around him for three full days before he finally aped into it headfirst. He told himself he was simply observing, gathering data on vice the way he once studied footwork, but somewhere between the fourth cup of sake and a stranger's smile he got thoroughly rugged by something with no floor price and no cure. He dropped his faith right there in the lantern light, quietly, the way he does everything, and woke up days later with a venereal souvenir and a strange, unbothered peace settling into his bones. Now he waits out the itch the same way he waits out everything else, patient, watchful, insisting between slow puffs of weed that he has never in his life felt more spiritually aligned.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Lived-in color. The Warm Grey background belongs to fighters who have been through enough that their edges have softened without their core changing.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Still learning. The Student Gi fighters are the most dangerous in the Dojo — they have no habits yet, no fixed patterns, no ceiling.
'Goro' — fifth son, who learns early the world won't wait, so he'd better learn to wait for it. Patience was his whole art: the one who held position long after holding stopped making sense.

Organization meets chaos. The Yakuza Hooligan fighters have discipline from one tradition and abandon from another, and they've combined them into something entirely their own.
The poisonous pufferfish as a weapon. The Frightened Fugu fighters chose something lethal that looks absurd — and find that this is the most accurate description of themselves.
