Igor The Bear does not rush, not even into disaster, and the ironing board he hauled up to Kiyomizu-Dera moved like a glacier deciding on a valley. He had one job that morning: press the kimono his old sensei gave him, make it crisp for the temple crowds, restore a sliver of the discipline he buried somewhere between his third bong rip and his fourth lost bet. Instead the iron sat too long, the silk scorched into a brown continent shaped vaguely like regret, and steam rolled off him thick enough that tourists thought the mountain itself was venting. Igor did not panic, because Igor does not know how, he simply stood there, ruined kimono draped over one huge forearm, and declared to the gathered monks that this was now a limited edition. Ask him about it today and his chest still swells slow and enormous with pride, a mountain admiring its own landslide, insisting the burn mark is a flex and not a funeral for the last honest thing he owned.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Between midday and dusk. The Orange Afternoon fighters are in the middle of something — not finished, not starting, exactly where they need to be.
