Igor the Bear does not move quickly, not for training, not for breakfast, not even for the rat that made the fatal error of scuttling across his path mid-blade-drill at the Dojo. The steel was already falling before Igor's mind caught up to his own arm, the way an avalanche starts before the mountain notices, and the rat met its end less by swordsmanship than by sheer geological inevitability. Word got around fast, as it does among degenerate samurai with nothing better to do than gossip over sake and busted katanas, and now half the Dojo calls him Rat-Slayer instead of anything resembling respectable. Igor grunts at this, unbothered on the surface, though underneath the mass there is an old discipline still groaning to get out, the ghost of a warrior who once meant every cut he made. He has vowed to retrain properly, to move with purpose again instead of glacial accident, but so far his morning drills have been rescheduled four times for naps, and the rat, wherever its spirit resides, is probably still laughing.
Unclear until it clears. The Grey Mist backgrounds belong to fighters who operate where others can't see, and use that fog as their advantage.
Built like a landslide — weight, physical and otherwise, the kind that can't be lifted, only rolled. In the wars you pointed him at a problem; now the stillness is the problem.
Kept from the harvest. The Dried Straw fighters dress in what's left after everything useful has been taken — and have discovered this is plenty.
Fermented projectile. The Beer Splash fighters found the most abundant thing in the Dojo and weaponized it.
