Igor The Bear did not rush to the Emperor's Palace, he never rushed anywhere, but the boar had gotten there first and someone had to answer for the mess it was making of the imperial gardens. He stood over the thing a long while before the blade ever moved, turning honor over in his big slow hands like a coin he'd forgotten the value of, wondering when duty had started feeling like just another chore between bong rips and empty wallets. The kill itself took one motion, unhurried and total, the way an avalanche needs only one push to finish what gravity started, and afterward he sat down right there in the dirt because getting back up was a whole separate campaign. He told himself, as he has told himself every dawn since the wars ended, that tomorrow he starts training again, tomorrow the discipline returns, tomorrow he stops staking his last coins on games he doesn't understand at three in the morning. Igor believes in better days the same way he believes in getting up early, which is to say completely, sincerely, and almost never on schedule.'
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Royalty that refused the crown. The Purple Night backgrounds belong to fighters who could have been somewhere easier and chose not to be.
