Diary
Igor The Bear does not do anything quickly, including ruin his own life, so the insult he threw at the daimyo's wife inside the Dojo Towers came out slow and deliberate, each word landing like a boulder rolling downhill, and somehow that made it worse. She did not raise a hand. She did not need to; whatever curse or ritual or expensive lawyer she summoned took his hair clean off his skull within the week, follicle by follicle, like the mountain itself decided he'd earned the erosion. He tried, briefly, to be humbled by it, sat cross-legged in front of a mirror at dawn trying to meditate on impermanence the way the old masters would, lasted four minutes before he was three bong rips deep and calling it
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Lived-in color. The Warm Grey background belongs to fighters who have been through enough that their edges have softened without their core changing.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Still learning. The Student Gi fighters are the most dangerous in the Dojo — they have no habits yet, no fixed patterns, no ceiling.
Built like a landslide — weight, physical and otherwise, the kind that can't be lifted, only rolled. In the wars you pointed him at a problem; now the stillness is the problem.
The Dojo itself, rendered on glass. The Dojo Graffiti fighters see everything through the collection's own aesthetic — they can't separate themselves from it.
Wild, electrified. The Zapachi fighters' hair moves independently and the fighter has accepted that this is appropriate.
