Diary
Before the world went soft and strange, Lovey Haruto stood one clean vote away from the shogunate, a blade sheathed in manners so polished that rivals mistook his gentleness for weakness right up until they didn't. Then, in a fit of tenderness that history books will never forgive him for, he insisted on personally helping the elderly around his own quarters, carrying their trays, fluffing their mats, listening to the same war story eleven times with the same soft eyes, and by the time the succession council reconvened the throne had quietly floor'd out from under him. He tells it now with a grin instead of a grudge, calling it the greatest rug of his life and meaning it, because somewhere between spilled tea and someone's grandmother's aching knees he became the kind of humble that can't be faked or aped. He still tries, every dojo morning, to rebuild some discipline, some regimen of blade drills and quiet meditation, and every single time he gets distracted helping a stray, feeding a drunk sparring partner, or talking a nervous newcomer through their first bout instead. Lovey Haruto lost a throne and, worse or better, he lost the will to ever stop being kind about it.
Worn as trophy or warning — nobody is quite sure which. The Chicken Bones fighters have a ceremony for everything and share it with no one.
Neither dark nor white. The Light Grey background belongs to fighters who operate in the space between certainties and have made it comfortable there.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
'Haruto' — warm person. He fights with something that looks like kindness, until you realize kindness done right is the hardest discipline of all, and he never stops choosing it.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
The Dojo's samurai. The Dejen Samurai fighters carry the warrior tradition through the collection's own lens — ancient code, contemporary context.
War god's spear. Divine reach. The Bishamon Yari fighters have authorization from something older than the Dojo.
