Diary
Lovey Haruto once carried himself like a lantern in a dark hallway, all warmth and steady light, the kind of samurai who bowed to strangers like they were old friends returning home. Then came the high moon evening, the sake-soft air, the reckless little decision made under a sky too bright and too generous, and Lovey found himself mid-sin on the Dojo veranda for the whole village to witness, moonlight doing him zero favors. Since that night he has not crossed the outer gate, not once, choosing instead to pour his shame into kindness like it's the only currency he trusts himself to spend honestly anymore. He greets every trembling new recruit with tea, compliments, and gentle words that patch wounds better than any blade ever could, insisting that discipline is a garden he waters daily, even as he schedules his sunrise meditation for noon and reschedules it again tomorrow. Ask him why he never leaves and he'll smile that disarming smile and say the world outside is beautiful, he's just needed, deeply and hilariously, needed right here, thank you very much, please have another cup of tea.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Hidden in plain sight. The Night Forest fighters do most of their work in the dark — not secretively, but quietly. They don't need an audience.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
'Haruto' — warm person. He fights with something that looks like kindness, until you realize kindness done right is the hardest discipline of all, and he never stops choosing it.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Time made visible, flowing. Flowing Dreads fighters carry their history in motion — every lock a year, and the years are moving now.
The floor weapon. Everywhere. Common because common is honest — the Rusty Nail fighters know that what you find is often better than what you planned.
