Lovey Haruto once trained his hands to hold a blade steady enough to still a battlefield, and now those same hands hold a bowl of noodles he insists on slurping from the back of a moving horse, because discipline is a muscle and apparently his only works on Tuesdays. The tattoos came after, inked by a man who swore he was an artist and was, in fact, only an enthusiast, and now Lovey wears a dragon that looks suspiciously like a confused catfish across his shoulder, a permanent souvenir of joy and terrible decisions. Every morning he wakes, catches his reflection, and smiles at the catfish dragon the way you'd smile at an old friend who embarrassed you at a wedding but whom you still love completely. He tells anyone who'll listen that the secret to a good life is forgiving yourself daily, mostly because he has so much practice forgiving himself for this exact thing, same time, same noodle bowl, same horse. The samurai in him aches for the calm precision he used to carry, but the degen in him has made peace with becoming his own gentle punchline, one warm apology and one bad tattoo at a time.
