Diary
Oleg Of War never apologizes, never explains, and certainly never blinks when the story turns against him, because the story was always his to begin with. The Dojo elders still whisper about the night he knocked Botan out cold in his own friend's bed, a scene so unnecessary it looped back around to legendary, and somewhere in the chaos a monkey ended up stabbed, a detail Oleg treats less like a crime and more like a punchline he's still proud of. He used to be disciplined once, katas at dawn, breath control, the whole samurai package, but these days his only ritual is rolling a joint with the same steady hand that once held a blade with purpose. They rugged him from the Dojo for it, stripped his rank, burned the scroll with his name on it, and Oleg just shrugged, floor price on regret being zero anyway. He walks off into degeneracy magnetic as ever, no comment, no apology, just a villain who knows the sequel always needs someone like him.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Bright but not loud. The Teal Daytime fighters are the ones you underestimate because they don't announce their arrival.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Grew things before they fought things. The Farmer clothing is the clearest record of what a fighter was before the Dojo changed them.
War in the name and war in the deed. Read the other fighters' stories closely and Oleg keeps turning up — always as the one who ruined the moment, corrupted the innocent, lit the match.
Authority through opacity. The Dark Spectacles fighters reveal nothing through their eyes and receive everything through them.
Movement made permanent. The Long Flowing fighters trail behind themselves in every room they enter — the hair arrives first, then the fighter.
The magical longbow. The Runed Yumi fighters inscribed power into their range weapon — the runes are the reason the arrows find what they're looking for.
