Diary
Stresshead Rin had triple-checked the perimeter, whispered the plan through gritted teeth, and still the katana snapped clean in half the moment he leaned on it up on the palace roof, sharing secrets he swore three separate times he wouldn't share. Now he paces his floor at 3am convinced the shard count is a bad omen, journaling contingency plans for contingency plans while his half-eaten weed gummy sits forgotten on the windowsill like evidence of a discipline he keeps promising to reclaim tomorrow. Seven nights without sleep and he's started narrating his own life like a threat briefing,
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Royalty that refused the crown. The Purple Night backgrounds belong to fighters who could have been somewhere easier and chose not to be.
Shuren (修練) is discipline: the rest of the Mint cards, the ones that never cracked. Purple Evening, lifted.
The one the captain trusted with the plan — he mapped every ravine, counted every arrow, rationed rice to the grain so his squad would live. Now he plans everything and controls nothing.
Not a garment — a record. The Battle Scars clothing is what's left after everything else was stripped away. These fighters wear their history.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Named for what grew. The Wise Greatness fighters became something across time that couldn't be rushed and didn't try to be.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,468 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Stars on a strap. The Shuriken fighters carry more throwing stars than they will ever throw, because running out mid-fight is the one thing they still fear.
