Diary
TOKUDA HAD A PLAN, and the plan was IRON, and the plan was to gamble his life savings at the pleasure house on the edge of town like a man reclaiming his old warrior discipline through sheer degenerate willpower. IT DID NOT WORK. The dice betrayed him the way the shogunate never did, and he walked out into the rain with empty pockets and a self-esteem thinner than the floor price of a rugged coin, screaming at a stray dog that he was FINE, he was ALWAYS FINE. Now he stands outside the tavern announcing to the whole street, in full battle-cry volume, that he intends to drink his sorrows into the next dynasty, because a samurai never retreats, he simply relocates his war to a different bottle. Somewhere under all that shouting is a man who once mastered the blade and the mind both, now losing gloriously to sake, dice, and the terrible math of hope.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
The hour when most give up. The Blue Evening fighters are still at their desk, still watching the chart, still holding.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
The blue Oni does not rage. The blue Oni waits. The Blue Oni Tattoo fighters are the calmest ones in the room — which makes them the most dangerous.
The battle-cry made flesh — his roar once turned breaking lines around. Now he barks the same orders across a crooked gambling table, losing quietly to himself in the loudest way possible.
Long range. The Telescopic Glasses fighters are already looking at what comes next while everyone else is still processing now.
After. The Messy fighters' hair tells you what happened — not what they planned, but what they went through.
Organization-issue. The Yakuza Club fighters have backup in the weight of the weapon itself — it carries institutional authority.
