Young Yuji never learned to sleep right, not since the war ended before he got his one great duel, so he fills the dark hours pacing his room like it still owes him a battlefield. Last night he was muttering strategy in his futon, half dreaming he was back at Sekigahara commanding ghosts, spilling every clan secret he never actually had to a pillow that could not care less. He woke to find he'd been talking for hours, sweat soaked, throat raw, convinced for one terrifying second that the whole dojo had heard him confess plans for glory that left with the last real war. He tried to laugh it off, told himself discipline means controlling your mouth even in your sleep, then immediately failed by retelling the whole story to three people before breakfast. Now he just calls it a bad dream, chooses to forget it, and keeps chasing a war that already packed up and left without him.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
The hour when most give up. The Blue Evening fighters are still at their desk, still watching the chart, still holding.
