Diary
Sparring day at the dojo was meant to be Yuuki's redemption arc, the day he finally moved like the disciplined blade he used to be instead of a man who'd aped his savings into three dead coins before breakfast. Somewhere between a textbook stance and a truly reckless dive roll across the mats, glory found him in the form of an unidentified rash, blooming across his forearm like some cursed NFT nobody wanted to mint. He fought on anyway, because quitting mid-battle felt like paperhanding his own honor, and a true warrior does not fold just because his skin is staging a rebellion. Now he sits wrapped in ointment and stubborn pride, treating the healing process with the same grim discipline he once reserved for actual combat, checking the rash's progress like it's a chart that might still pump. The old masters trained for years to face death without flinching; Yuuki, glorious idiot that he is, applies that same unshaking calm to a mystery itch, and somehow it still counts as courage.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Lived-in color. The Warm Grey background belongs to fighters who have been through enough that their edges have softened without their core changing.
Every cracked card. White is the beginner's belt, and torn is how the crack left it, border and all: a White card is never printed. A repair earns Blue.
'Yuuki' means courage, earned the plain way: by stepping forward on the mornings every sane part of him voted to step back. Bravery, for him, was a decision made fresh each day.
The red Oni shouts first. The Red Oni Kimono fighters wear their temper on the outside, which at least saves everyone the trouble of guessing.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
The warrior and the wanderer. Worn by those who are between destinations but never between fights.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,468 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
A bronze fist on a stick. The Bronze Fisted Warhammer fighters wanted to punch from farther away and commissioned the most literal solution available.
