Diary
They called him Akuma back when the war still meant something, a name spat by enemies and worn like armor ever since, and he has never once bothered to correct the record. Under a bridge slick with runoff and old incense smoke, he knelt to sharpen his blades the way a monk might pray, ritual before ruin, and the steel answered his devotion by snapping clean in half like it, too, had grown tired of his reputation. He stared at the broken katana for a long moment, then laughed the low laugh that used to empty rooms, because even his sword apparently wanted out of the demon business. Now Akuma speaks of healthier pleasures, herbal tea, early nights, maybe a green smoothie between bounties, and everyone nods politely while he white-knuckles his way through one more bowl of weed and calls it meditation. The discipline he chases slips away every time, grinning, and somewhere under that bridge his old blade rusts happily, finally at peace with the menace it once served.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Bright but not loud. The Teal Daytime fighters are the ones you underestimate because they don't announce their arrival.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Ritual clothing for someone who crossed between worlds. The Bird Shaman fighters dress for the journey they're already on, not the destination.
'Akuma' means devil, a name he didn't choose. The survivors needed a word bigger than soldier for what he did on the field, and it stuck.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Broad shade, broad vision. The Wide Kasa Fisherman fighters cover more ground with their hat than most cover with their plans.
The soul of the Dojo. Folded ten thousand times. The blade remembers every holder it has passed through.
