Diary
They named him Akuma back when names still meant something, back when discipline was a blade he kept oiled and a spine he kept straight, and he wears the title now like a rusted medal he never asked to earn twice. The night he walked into his superior's quarters uninvited, the old man was mid-sentence about honor and Akuma simply stopped listening, stopped bowing, and let his fists do the talking his tongue had grown too bored to bother with. He tells anyone who'll sit still long enough that his charisma stat spiked that very night, as if beating a superior bloody on his own tatami were some kind of on-chain achievement unlock, floor price of respect suddenly mooning. He regrets nothing, not the shattered lamp, not the busted jaw, not the years of ronin drifting that followed like smoke he can't quite inhale away. Every dawn he swears he'll meditate, sit straight, breathe like the old masters taught him, and every dawn he ends up cross-legged with a blunt instead of a sword, grinning at the ceiling, utterly, magnificently undisciplined.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Unclear until it clears. The Grey Mist backgrounds belong to fighters who operate where others can't see, and use that fog as their advantage.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
'Akuma' means devil, a name he didn't choose. The survivors needed a word bigger than soldier for what he did on the field, and it stuck.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Ancient discipline, modern retention. The Braided Samurai Ponytail fighters maintain something traditional precisely because the world keeps trying to make them let it go.
The poisonous pufferfish as a weapon. The Frightened Fugu fighters chose something lethal that looks absurd — and find that this is the most accurate description of themselves.
