They say Junichiro Reborn died once behind the koi pond at Ryoan-ji and came back wearing someone else's smile, and honestly, he doesn't correct them. The story goes he was trading secrets in the garden, the kind whispered between old ronin who should know better, when a strange rash bloomed across his arm like the universe's own red candle. Most men would panic. Junichiro just studied the blotches with the same flat calm he now studies everything, then declared it a sign, a mint, proof he'd been chosen for something even he can't quite name. He walks the dojo halls proud now, robe loose, sandals dragging, insisting the itch was enlightenment and not, say, a bad batch of gas station edibles shared too close to poison ivy. Every dawn he vows to meditate before breakfast, to return to the disciplined blade he once was, and every dawn he ends up cross-legged in the garden again, grinning at his own scars, whispering new secrets to whoever will catch the rash next.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
