Diary
Before, Junichiro Reborn was the kind of ambitious that scared other samurai into practicing harder, a blade sharpened on the belief that legacy was a thing you seized with both hands. Then came the afternoon laughing with Haru in the Dojo gardens, some joke about floors falling out from under men and portfolios alike, and something in him quietly unclenched that has never quite clenched again. He tells people he died a little that day, in the good way, the way a snake tells you about its old skin like it's gossip about a stranger. Now he retreats into the jungle outside town, not to hide but to rehearse stillness, promising himself this is the season he returns to discipline, cold mornings, empty cups, a mind like still water. He lasts four days before the vines start looking like good places to nap, and honestly, the new Junichiro finds that funnier than the old one ever would have allowed himself to.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Hidden in plain sight. The Night Forest fighters do most of their work in the dark — not secretively, but quietly. They don't need an audience.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Still learning. The Student Gi fighters are the most dangerous in the Dojo — they have no habits yet, no fixed patterns, no ceiling.
He walked into something that should have ended him and walked back out with the same name and none of the same conditions. Nobody agrees what happened out there, and he's in no hurry to explain.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
The Dojo's samurai. The Dejen Samurai fighters carry the warrior tradition through the collection's own lens — ancient code, contemporary context.
The floor weapon. Everywhere. Common because common is honest — the Rusty Nail fighters know that what you find is often better than what you planned.
