Masumi Steel walked into the Hidden Teahouse looking for a drink and left looking like he'd lost a fight with a rice paddy, which, depending on who you ask, he sort of did. He talked back to a table of old-guard samurai still clinging to their bushido like it was a floor price that never dipped, and Masumi, mouth faster than his sense, told them their honor was worth about as much as a rugged JPEG. Cups flew, a low table folded under someone's dignity, and Masumi ended up face down in the koi pond grinning like he'd won a jackpot instead of a bruise. He swears he was two seconds from meditating his way to enlightenment right before the shouting started, which is his version of discipline these days, a promise made and broken in the same breath. Ask him if he regrets it and he'll pour you a drink, wink, and say the only thing he regrets is not spilling more tea on the way down.
