Diary
Oleg Of War once commanded silence with a glance, a blade that never needed sharpening twice, discipline etched into every bow he gave his old masters. Now he lies in the Dojo's dim quarters, mushrooms coursing through him like a mutiny he invited, and somewhere between the melting walls and the whispering floorboards a rash bloomed across his skin, unexplained and unrepentant as the man himself. He does not seek a healer. He does not seek forgiveness. He simply stopped leaving, as if the Dojo itself became the only kingdom worth ruling once his legs forgot how to trust the outside world, and he tells anyone who asks that this was always the plan, that stillness is strategy, that a villain rests when a villain chooses. The old sensei in him, the one who once counted breaths before dawn training, watches from some dusty corner of his mind, disappointed but unsurprised, knowing full well that discipline left this body the same night the spores did their work.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Royalty that refused the crown. The Purple Night backgrounds belong to fighters who could have been somewhere easier and chose not to be.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Wore everything out. The Dirty Peasant Rags fighters have been in the Dojo so long that newness has become impossible — everything they own carries the evidence.
War in the name and war in the deed. Read the other fighters' stories closely and Oleg keeps turning up — always as the one who ruined the moment, corrupted the innocent, lit the match.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Nothing hidden. No armor above the neck. The Bald fighters face everything without cover and consider this the only honest approach.
The floor weapon. Everywhere. Common because common is honest — the Rusty Nail fighters know that what you find is often better than what you planned.
