Diary
Oleg Of War did not mean to become a cautionary tale, but the wild boar that charged through the gambling house in Kabukicho never got a vote in the matter, and neither did the dealer's table it took down with it. One clean stroke, one dead boar, one room full of degenerates suddenly remembering they used to call men like Oleg samurai instead of whatever slur the pit boss screamed that night. Something in him, some old ember from a life of discipline and rice-paper honor, decided this was the moment to reform, to walk the noble path again, to stop drinking, stop betting, stop everything that made him fun at parties. That resolve lasted exactly as long as it took someone to hand him a warm sake and a fresh hand of cards, and he has not forgiven himself for either the boar or the backslide since. He offers no apology for any of it, because villains in their own legend rarely do, and Oleg has always preferred being the reason the story gets interesting.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Royalty that refused the crown. The Purple Night backgrounds belong to fighters who could have been somewhere easier and chose not to be.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Self-described. The Womanizer clothing is a declaration that the fighter has a particular relationship with the world and considers this worth advertising.
War in the name and war in the deed. Read the other fighters' stories closely and Oleg keeps turning up — always as the one who ruined the moment, corrupted the innocent, lit the match.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Elevated tradition. The High Straw Rice Hat fighters dress high above their own heads — everything they do is reaching upward.
Found. Not forged. The Large Branch fighters don't wait for the right weapon — they use what's available and are surprised when this needs explanation.
