Diary
Oleg Of War walks into every room like he already owns the deed to it, which is precisely the swagger that got him banned from the yakiniku on the corner of nowhere and regret. There was a mamasan there once, sharp-tongued and unimpressed, and Oleg, fresh off three bottles of shochu and a lifetime of believing his own hype, decided the grill wasn't the only thing worth turning up the heat on. It went about as well as charging a spear formation with a katana and a hangover: badly, loudly, and in front of witnesses who still bring it up. Some nights he tells himself this is the year he finds discipline again, sits seiza, breathes like a man who once meant something, but by the second drink the old ronin in him just laughs and orders another skewer. He regrets nothing, not the tab, not the scene, not the ban, because a villain who apologizes is just a extra in someone else's redemption arc, and Oleg Of War refuses to be anyone's supporting role.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Red moon, heightened stakes. The Red High Moon backgrounds mark the moments when everything was on the line and the fighter stayed.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Self-described. The Womanizer clothing is a declaration that the fighter has a particular relationship with the world and considers this worth advertising.
War in the name and war in the deed. Read the other fighters' stories closely and Oleg keeps turning up — always as the one who ruined the moment, corrupted the innocent, lit the match.
Still wearing them. The Bloodied Glasses fighters need nothing to be clean to keep seeing clearly.
The warrior and the wanderer. Worn by those who are between destinations but never between fights.
Organization-issue. The Yakuza Club fighters have backup in the weight of the weapon itself — it carries institutional authority.
