Oleg Of War did not fall from grace so much as he swan-dived into it, selling out his master at the Degen Dojo for reasons he still refuses to explain to anyone, including himself. The severance package was a black eye and a permanent ban from the sake cellar, which Oleg wears like a medal rather than a scar. He tells people he has devoted himself to Buddha now, and technically that is true, if Buddha counts as a small resin statue he stares at while rolling something decidedly not incense. Every dawn he kneels for five minutes of stillness before the old katana muscle memory twitches him toward chaos again, and every dawn he loses that fight with the same bored shrug. He offers no apology for the betrayal, no comment on the karma stacking up like unpaid gambling debts, only a thin smile that says the next master should watch their back too.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
