Diary
Oleg Of War rode into the courtyard at Odawara under a borrowed name, borrowed armor, and a stolen horse that trusted him far more than it should have. He did not apologize for the wreckage he left, the toppled sake barrels, the merchant's cart he turned into kindling, the reputation of some poor samurai he'd impersonated now buried alongside his own honor. Discipline once meant rising before dawn to sharpen a blade for hours; now it means occasionally remembering which alias he's currently ruining. He tried, briefly, to meditate on his sins near the castle gate, but the horse ate his sitting mat and he took it as a sign to keep moving. Oleg has issues, plenty, stacked like unpaid tabs, and he wears them the way other men wear medals, without shame, without comment, without ever once looking back.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Bright but not loud. The Teal Daytime fighters are the ones you underestimate because they don't announce their arrival.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Sovereignty in fabric form. The Queeny Chic fighters dress with authority that was never granted by anyone else and therefore can't be revoked.
War in the name and war in the deed. Read the other fighters' stories closely and Oleg keeps turning up — always as the one who ruined the moment, corrupted the innocent, lit the match.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Extinct power, still present. The Sabertooth Skull fighters wear something that doesn't exist anymore — which means they carry it forward.
Organization-issue. The Yakuza Club fighters have backup in the weight of the weapon itself — it carries institutional authority.
