Diary
One-Eyed Itsuki once trained with the kind of ambition that could split bamboo at fifty paces, one good eye fixed always on the horizon, patient as a stone waiting for weather. Then came Degens Path, that cursed little game of masks and wagers, and Itsuki rolled up a female avatar named Sakura-chan for reasons he still insists were purely strategic, purely aesthetic, purely not his fault. The Dojo elders did not share his appreciation for method acting; they called it a violation of the Bushido terms of service and escorted him out before he could finish his in-character monologue about honor and floor price. Now he wanders the outer provinces half-blind and fully unashamed, still swearing daily he'll return to discipline, meditation, the sword, right after this next hand of cards. His depth perception is famously terrible, but even with one eye he sees clean through his own excuses, twice as clearly as anyone else ever could.”
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Red moon, heightened stakes. The Red High Moon backgrounds mark the moments when everything was on the line and the fighter stayed.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Seasonal. Fleeting. Beautiful because it ends. The Autumn Sakura Kimono fighters understand that the things that don't last are what make things matter.
'Itsuki' — a tree, deep roots and one straight trunk. He lost the eye in a story he tells four different ways depending on how much he likes you, and what's left sees more than most manage with two.
Gold-edged, elevated. The Pompous Glasses fighters have earned the right to look down at something and have chosen to look down at mediocrity.
Dark nature made structural. The Black Oni Horns fighters grew into something specific and let it show at the top.
Heavy, ceramic, purpose-built for one thing and used for another. The Giant Sake Bottle fighters are creative about their arsenal.
