Diary
Before the patch, before the legend, Itsuki ran a Yakuza crew with two good eyes and zero patience for excuses, a man who once carried a blade the way monks carry silence. Then came Goro, greedy and grinning, and Itsuki did what any self-respecting boss does to a traitor: he cast him out into the Kyoto frost with nothing but his own cold breath for company. The price was an eye, paid in some back-alley reckoning nobody talks about anymore, and now he sees half the world but reads all of it, twice as clear, twice as fast. He tells himself the missing eye was tuition for wisdom, though these days that wisdom mostly goes toward calling bad bluffs at the dice table and swearing he will meditate again come Monday. Monday never comes, but the man still walks like a king who traded a kingdom for a punchline and somehow came out ahead.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Unclear until it clears. The Grey Mist backgrounds belong to fighters who operate where others can't see, and use that fog as their advantage.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
The blue Oni does not rage. The blue Oni waits. The Blue Oni Tattoo fighters are the calmest ones in the room — which makes them the most dangerous.
'Itsuki' — a tree, deep roots and one straight trunk. He lost the eye in a story he tells four different ways depending on how much he likes you, and what's left sees more than most manage with two.
Traditional, ornamented. The Shoji Tassel Glasses fighters dress their perception in ceremony — seeing is a ritual for them, not a reflex.
Clean but rough. The White Ruffian fighters look like they could have behaved properly and chose not to. The white makes the choice more visible.
Used and not cleaned. The Bloody Nunchucks fighters are efficient — cleaning was someone else's job and they had the next fight to prepare for.
