Diary
One-Eyed Itsuki used to say he saw half the world but saw it twice as clear, until an old woman under Nakamura Bridge spat clean through that clarity and reminded him some truths don't need two eyes to land. He didn't flinch, didn't swing, just stood there getting rained on by an elder's grudge, and something in his ronin calm cracked like cheap katana steel. He aped into a bottle that night, then a blunt, then a losing streak at dice that would make his old dojo master weep into his own topknot. These days he trains at dawn with the same iron discipline he swore off, gets rugged by noon by whichever friend owes him money, and mutters that his standards for company have officially hit the floor. Still, half his vision stays sharp enough to notice: the company's garbage, the ache for real brothers hasn't dulled one bit, and somewhere under that bridge an old woman is still, technically, undefeated.
A paper earring from the Dojo itself. Fragile. Replaceable. The fighters who wear them understand that what looks disposable can last forever.
Bright but not loud. The Teal Daytime fighters are the ones you underestimate because they don't announce their arrival.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Wealth made garment. The Money Kimono fighters wear their wins literally — the fabric is a record, not a boast.
'Itsuki' — a tree, deep roots and one straight trunk. He lost the eye in a story he tells four different ways depending on how much he likes you, and what's left sees more than most manage with two.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
The Dojo wrote on it. The Degen Graffiti Rice Hat fighters carry the collection's mark on the highest point of their body.
A live chicken. As a weapon. The Chicken fighters have committed to an approach that nobody expected and found that unexpectedness is half the battle.
