That loss, he says, humbled him more than any lost eye ever did, since a missing eye just costs you depth perception, while a missing fortune costs you your excuses. He still tries to meditate at dawn like the old masters taught, sitting rooted as stone, but he always ends up counting missed entries instead of breaths, one eye watching the sunrise and the other watching a chart that never rises at all.
