One-Eyed Itsuki lost his depth perception years ago but never his priorities, and both were on full display the night the bamboo forest bore witness to his arm snapping clean in two. He'd been aping into widows the way lesser men ape into a dying token, full send, zero due diligence, and the floor gave out exactly when the elders always warned him it would. A samurai trains his body like a blade, disciplined, honed, still; Itsuki trains his like a man chasing green candles at 3am, reckless, hungry, loud. He woke up in the dirt with his arm bent wrong and his grin bent right, one eye taking in the wreckage twice as clearly as any two-eyed man could. Discipline can wait another lifetime, he figured, cradling the break like a trophy, because some floors are worth getting rugged for.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Neither dark nor white. The Light Grey background belongs to fighters who operate in the space between certainties and have made it comfortable there.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Self-described. The Womanizer clothing is a declaration that the fighter has a particular relationship with the world and considers this worth advertising.
'Itsuki' — a tree, deep roots and one straight trunk. He lost the eye in a story he tells four different ways depending on how much he likes you, and what's left sees more than most manage with two.
Carried more than worn. The Pocket Glasses fighters have perfect vision when they choose to apply it — the rest of the time, they let instinct run.
