Diary
Stresshead Rin used to sleep with one eye open and a hand near his blade, a samurai calibrated for wars that no longer existed, so when the wars ended his vigilance had nowhere left to go and started eating itself. He climbed the mountain to the local shrine looking for stillness the old-fashioned way, incense and silence and maybe a sign from the gods, but somewhere between the torii gate and the offering box he ended up sharing a joint with a stranger who claimed to be a monk, or possibly just cosplaying one. One hit in, the mountain wind sounded like ten thousand ancestors whispering tactical advice, and Rin achieved a kind of enlightenment where he understood, with total clarity, that everything and everyone could get rugged at any moment. He came down from that shrine a changed man, technically calmer, spiritually louder, now greeting friends with both a bow and a full threat assessment of the room. To this day he tries to meditate every morning as discipline, sits cross-legged for exactly four seconds before springing up to check the locks, the exits, and whether the floor beneath his tatami has quietly become lava.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Red moon, heightened stakes. The Red High Moon backgrounds mark the moments when everything was on the line and the fighter stayed.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
The one the captain trusted with the plan — he mapped every ravine, counted every arrow, rationed rice to the grain so his squad would live. Now he plans everything and controls nothing.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Clean but rough. The White Ruffian fighters look like they could have behaved properly and chose not to. The white makes the choice more visible.
